How it works
From the first walk-through to the final report.
Every engagement follows the same four steps. Hire us for one of them, or let us run all four so nothing falls through the gaps between vendors.
-
01
Assess
We walk your site at the hours it is exposed, then tell you how many officers you need, where, and why.
-
02
Train
We build the courses around those posts and teach them in person. Everyone is scored.
-
03
Staff
The officers on your site are the ones we trained, supervised by people who came up the same way.
-
04
Command
For events, we run incident command from a written plan and hand you an after-action report at the end.
Who we work with
Built for the person who carries the risk.
Hotels and hospitality
Officers who can calm a guest down and still write a report that holds up. Access control, patrol and standing posts.

02 Why CTS
Four vendors, or one.
Here is what changes when the same company assesses, trains, staffs and commands.
The trainer is the supervisor.
The people who trained your officers are the ones supervising them on post. Nothing gets lost between a training vendor and a guard company.
Planned by people who have commanded.
Your site plan is written by former SWAT and event commanders, not by a sales rep.
One file when someone asks.
Assessment, training records, post orders and timekeeping come from one company. When your insurer, your board or an attorney asks, it is all in one place.
Nevada’s minimum is zero.
An unarmed security officer in Nevada can start work with no training at all. Armed officers need 13 hours, and all of it is on the firearm. California requires 40. We build our courses to what the post requires.
CTS courses are built to what the post requires
Nevada and California state minimums, from the CTS capability overview.
| Jurisdiction | Hours | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Nevada, unarmed | 0 | No training required |
| Nevada, armed | 13 | All of it on the firearm |
| California | 40 | State minimum |
Not sure where to start?
Start with a site walk. We will tell you what we see, what it would cost to fix, and which of the four you actually need.
03 Who we are
Ten years in the Valley.
Jeb Bozarth founded CTS in 2015. He came from the Navy Seabees and nearly two decades with the Henderson Police Department, where he commanded SWAT. He built CTS to train private security officers the way police officers are trained. We still teach every class in person.
- Vision
-
Safety without compromise.
It is the standard we hold ourselves to, and the promise we make to every client who lets us onto their property.
- Mission
-
Set the standard for private security in Nevada.
Nevada asks very little of a security officer before the first shift. We think that should change, and we are starting with our own officers and our own clients.
“The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.”
Seabee motto - How we train
-
Reality-based.In person.
No online-only courses, ever. We show you how, we make you do it, and then we put you under stress to see whether it holds.
Our core values
What we hold each other to.
-
01
Honor
Put it all on the line
-
02
Humility
Sacrifice before self
-
03
Professional
Battle tested
-
04
Adaptable
Option 13
-
05
Intentional
Fear is a reaction, courage is a choice
We hire for these five and expect them on every shift and in every class.

Tell us what you are dealing with and we will recommend what fits, whether that is one class or a full security program. If nothing standard fits, we will build something that does.
